Been working on these for the past 2 weekends for a buddy of mine....

The areas taped off

One side glassed

Me glassing the other side

Both sides finished

Me adding another layer

Baffles cut out and routed

Me adding dowels

Having some fun with resin, entirely too much hardener, and plastic

Baffles mounted

A skunk running around in the middle of the day

Fleeced

Me putting resin on the fleece

A poor butterfly encased in fiberglass resin

Me sanding

A clean work area is a happy work area

Covered and finished

Half-installed

Still gotta finish a few things, build an amp rack, and clean up the wiring, its a little messy

Don't feel bad for me, I actually enjoy having an American made car.

I got it 4 years ago with 20,000 miles, and it just hit 70,000 the other day.. I will be keeping it until it can't drive anymore...

you like the skunk? I think you should come stop by, and take it away from my street.... it has been endlessly roaming the streets (only during the day) for about 3 weeks now, and seems to be angry. i always wondered why people cut out the entire ring when they carpet the kickpanels instead of cutting out *lines* in it so the carpet goes down the sides of the speaker. sometimes you can see the wood underneath the carpet the way its done now.

im not criticizing, just wondering. i think they look nice. im building an entertainment center from mdf and fiberglass. i should take some pics of that, because its fun as hell
