sorry to break it to you but fords ****, they rust out quicker than any other kinda car/truck ive seen. and i wouldnt really invest in a Hyundai but if you can get it for that cheap then go for it. like i said im a toyota guy. toyota> ford.
But to argue that longevity and reliability of a vehicle all depend on what company makes it are just ridiculous and an ignorant guess at best IMO.
I'm not arguing that a Ford won't outlast a Hyundai. But to say that you can run a Ford to over 150k without having to drop a bunch of money in it to keep it running is bullshit. Cars age and shit starts to fall apart, that's a fact.My Ford gets 17 MPG with a V8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifMy Ford has been on the road for 20 years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Longevity and reliability are both dependant on driving styles and maitnence. If you drive like an *** you put stress on things, dont change your oil and other things your shit will break. Sone vehicles have common problems that might occur like my transfer case oil pump spinning out and needing to be rebuilt.

hahaha thanks troyToyota,,, Ford.. Chevy..I think this was about some crazy lady that works at a taco stand that looks like a white trash prom queen in a 00' Neon
that has not been washed in 8 mouths that backs out of parking spaces at full speed (12mph) for a neon..
Rust also has to do with maitnence and location. I bet my 1989 Ford will have less than a 2000 Toyota with the owner living on a NC beach. Toyotas are nice and i like Dodges as well but Rust can be prevented by caring about your paintjob and taking care of your ish.sorry to break it to you but fords ****, they rust out quicker than any other kinda car/truck ive seen. and i wouldnt really invest in a Hyundai but if you can get it for that cheap then go for it. like i said im a toyota guy. toyota> ford.
Amoung reported. When was the last time you reported your toyota age and miliage to someone for those statistics. Exactly.do your research and youll find out toyota cars/trucks last the longest and are the most reliable automobile on the road. you are just being ignorant //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I havnt had my Ford its whole life, as it is older than me, but i put lucas in with every fill up, change the oil, ***** (auto), diff, antifreeze and all regurlarly, I switched thermostats so she'll run cooler, and i dont drive it like i stole it all the time.I'm not arguing that a Ford won't outlast a Hyundai. Oh and my first car was a ford. It died at the ripe old age of 10 years and 110k.
Thats the trade off between Autos and Manuals. Manuals need work more often but Autos are more expensive when they go.My Ford is still running strong @ 12 years and 152k. It's out of commission right now, due to the clutch and flywheel needing replaced, but those are stock. The ****** has never been seriously worked on. 152k miles. Built Ford tough. For those of you that say Ford doesn't hold up, you didn't take care of your shit. I'm not surprised that Ford let you down.
yo, i just got a 2003 Honda Civic on saturday in phoniex and drove it back here and today i was at the audio store showing of my new C&D 93ah batts i got and this lady back into me. ****
