Some Help Greatly NEeded

I am going to sell my sub that I have and amp for around 600 bucks to a friend.

I don't really need much bass anymore because I dont listen to too much bassy music, cept the occasional hip hop song. I am now looking for a nice mids and high sound system, (not like comeptition quality or super top of line, but something impressive and daily driving) I might get some E12K's later down on the road, but for now Im just looking for a good Mids and highs, because right now I have 2 tweeters on the ceiling and 2 6x8 in the rear dash running off H/U so you can only imagine how that is lol.

I have been told to get a comp set (2 tweets and 2 6.5) in the front then get 6.5 in the rear dash. With a 4 channel amp for the fron speakers and a 2 channel for the rear ones. Too mee it sounds like that right there is going all out, because It will be kind of pricey, but I was thinking maybe 4 6.5's??? Or not? Was looking to get maybe just 4 nice speakers and a 4 channel amp to push them but Any reccomendations are GREATLY appreciated. Anything from speakers to amp to push them, thanks alot.

All depends on how nuts you want to go with it man. I have perfect comps, and they sound gorgeous with just the 4 of them, unamped. What car do you have?
