Some good sounding sealed subs

My amp will put out between 1200 - 1500 watts.

Looking for 2 good 12's or 3 10's

Has to be sealed either way around 3 - 3.5 cu ft. maximum(smaller the better)

Im not interested in setting spl records. I want it to get loud and anything with 1500 watts is going to be loud enough for me im sure, but the most important thing is for it to sound good. hit all the notes accurately.

Would prefer not to spend over 450.00

;2821607']Type-r's' date=' mang. I loved my sealed 10"s back when i was just running 800watts. i can imagine 2 12"s being even better.[/quote']

Type R's would be perfect meng. They are so cheap and everyone says great stuff about them. But they also say not to seal them. 1500 watts would be enough for 3 of them you think ?? Or is that fine for 2 of them? How would they compare to IDmax's which i was also looking at. I heard IDmax was basically as good as it gets but they cost like 300.00 more than the Alpines PER SUB //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif otherwise, they would be my first choice.

Im probably going to give them a try and if they just dont do it, i can sell them. Man, im starting to accumulate so much stuff i could open a shop.

Was considering 3 kicker comp vr's or 2 kicker comp vx's. Also was considering three Orion xtr pros if anyone has any experience with them. They are probably like 4 years old or so and can be had for around 50 dollars each. They are 500rms each so it would seem to work.

Are these choices worth looking in to or is alpine just a better way to go.

a few come to mind for SQ that you might wanna think about.. first AA came to mind.. but we are still waiting for them to come back online

Polk Audio MOMOs

Phoenix Gold RSD's

Infinity Kappa's

my and silveralty have spent about 5 hrs discussing this on im, lol.

he's going to find it funny 'cause i never recommended them untilall the sudden they showed up in my signature...

My 12w6v2 ported sounded deeper/lower and had great SQ compared to my friend's sealed type r.

There is a lot of praise of the TC and the RL-p on this forum sounding good and getting loud while doing it.
