some box questions

Hay guys I got two questions 1 if I'm going to be over powering subs is it better to do a smaller box or bigger box. 2 is it better to put a port in the middle of the subs or the the side thanks

put it in a smaller box if you're going to be overpowering it and i usually like separate chambers better so port in the middle
