i think there is better options for the sub for the money IMO

Whats a better amp than a t4k besides the t15k...???? Hifonics goliath or maxxonics mabie but more $$$... Sundown3000 next up less power less money... Was shootin for that 5k RMS to really get the solo x bangin..

Yeah, I don't have any of the equipment yet I'm still just in the planning phase. looking for the biggest baddest stuff out there (keeping some sort of budget in mind) and I just figured this kicker 18 was suitable for that description.

your entire trunk will have to be a box... im getting a mustang and cant fit anything over a 12 because of the box height. anything over 14" high wont fit into the trunk... unless ur seats fold down.

your entire trunk will have to be a box... im getting a mustang and cant fit anything over a 12 because of the box height. anything over 14" high wont fit into the trunk... unless ur seats fold down.

I am at the same time turning this car into a suop'd up vehicle

(not a drag car or top alcohol just a DD that's gonna be pretty quick)

so I planned on just getting rid of the backseats completely, via delete kit, or just custom.

I think we kinda figured that if you were thinkin bout a solo x... Not really gonna fit in trunk.. Bye Bye back seats... Man just 1 18.. Fi DC Kicker whatever you decide is gonna pound in a little mustang..

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site to find the SPL ratings of some of these subs, I read somewhere that the solo x I was looking at was capable of 185 DB SPL (which is nuts) I just want to see how these other suggestions stack up. because I've not had the chance to experience all of these SPL is something an audiophile is something I can relate to.
