Some assistance, please!

Hello everyone, I'm a noob to this forum but not to car audio. However I need some assistance picking out a new deck for my car. I currently have a Pioneer Premier 740mp, which I've had since 02, but its seen better days. I'm just having alot of issues with it so I'm looking into purchasing a new head unit.

Let me give you a breakdown of the rest of my system that's currently in my car.

-Focal Access 6.5" components

-CDT audio mids

-Image Dynamics IDMAX 12" subwoofer

-Crossfire VR804 4ch amp

-Crossfire 1000w mono amp (blew it 2 weeks ago, also replacing).

Now Ive been looking looking at two decks in particular, the Kenwood MP828 and the Alpine 9853. The reason for these two is I can get them at cost pretty much, but I'm more than willing to go out and pay retail ($350ish) if there is something thats much better than either of those decks. There isn't too much feedback on the Kenwood from my searches, but I like the fact that it has 5v pre-outs. The Alpine seems to have a good rep, but Im not thrilled about the 2v pre-outs or the glidetouch I've read about.

So if you folks could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I would say go Kenwood out of the two, but that's just me.

If you liked the Pioneer, why not wait until the new lineups of Premiers come out and pick one up?
