Solo X's???

Has anybody heard the 12 inch version of these? Are they only SPL,or do they at least sound decent? I was thinking of trying a setup with one 12 and SS comps and all that. I can get so **** good discounts on the stuff, but if they sound like *** its not worth it.

we have two Solo X 12's in one of our demo vehicles, with two KX2500'1 on each...with all SS up front...sounds amazing...

Yeah? I woulndt be able to put that much power to it tho. are they efficent if they dont have the full 5k watts rms?

i've got one s18x in my truck and i'm giving it "only" 2800wrms...it's loud!! and sounds amazing for what it is!!!

i would think that 2500 watts to 3000 watts would be ok. i have heard one in a boat with 1600 watts going to it, wasnt that impressed, but then again, it was in a boat, not the greatest install, not a lot of power given that the sub is a beast, so i am not too sure what it would sound like with that kind of power. i have heard one in a camaro with 4000 watts and it sounded good.

They will pound really hard, im just not sure about the sound quality. I used to not like kicker at all, but i think they are improving their quality. U have good discounts, do u work at circuit city?
