Solo X wiring options???????????????????????????????????

i recently bought a solo x 10 and the previous owner had it hooked up on only 1 voice coil. Each voice coil is 1 ohm i believe? whats my options?

well you can wire it to .5ohm or 2 ohm. you could wire it to 1 ohm like the last owner did but you can only run it at half power(though i would not advise it since it is a waste of your sub to only run it at 50%)

thanks man..i will wire it to 2 ohms for now..seeing as my amp isn't stable for .5 ohms

Only one voice coil is wired? Shop I bought my kicker from they did that, it lasted like 2 months.....but I got bran new ones from them.

He said the previous guy only wired one, which messes it up pretty bad.
