$400 for a 3k+ amp???? boss has a 5500 watt amp I think it has something like 150 watts rms, but who pays attention to rms these days....

I found 2 bamf 4000d was thinking of running I'n series at 4000+ rms but probably overrated by a 1000 but both new at $380 shipped.

you'll get about 2k rms maybe tops out of those amps. just save more and buy a better bigger amp. that will be your best bet. unless you want an AP3K

It will. I'll be running 2 of the largest deep cycle optimas cap 200+ alt all 0ga. I just need to know what amp is a good bet on the solo x so i can figure the amps my truck needs to hold Atleast 12volts.

well in order to get a good amount of power you'll need some bigger better batts then those optimas. also what kind of power are you trying to throw at it? or what do you want to throw at it?

Probably a true 2500-2700 rms

then your best bet right now would be something like a saz2500 if you can find one in your range. probably be used but itll work.
