Solo Baric's L5's (wiring help)

I am currently running 2 12" L5's to two Kicker 600.1's.

My set up is very simple i have a beefed up alternator and also a 2nd yellow top in the back with two 1 farad caps. Ok here is my question...I have taken my 2 L5's (Dual 4 ohms) to a local ex- Kicker dealer... i asked them how should i wire these subs to get the Max out of them... they responded by telling me to run them parallel (which they currently are). Then browsing around the other kicker dealer who still deals one of there pros told me that i should be running them series... i didnt really ask why but i am just wondering do i have the right set up or should i wire these subs up series... thanks for any help anyone can give...

Parallel will get you a lower ohm load. Series will get you a higher ohm load. Almost all amps make more power at their lowest stable ohm load.

you need to get a different amp buster

maybe you can load your amp at 1ohms to get 1200rms x 1@1ohms

amp is 2 ohm stable. people claim to have ran it at 1ohm but i wouldnt seeing as...there's a kx1200.1 for that

well so haha i have about an even amount of people telling me oppisite things lol... i guess i ll just see if anyone else can sway my opinion of 4 ohm load.
