Solid Audio

As for me, I'd rather go for name brands that are popular (eg. MTX, MMATTS, Alpine, Xtant, PPI, Planet Audio, etc). Never heard of Solid Audio. Inspite of it all, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for."

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Right now the Solid Audio amp is running 2 12" DA M3 (older svc ones). I think my subs can take 400w rms?

The ratings for the amp are:

300w rms x 2ch @ 2ohms

200w rms x 2ch @ 4ohms

500w rms x 1ch @ 4ohms

600w max x 2ch @ 2ohms

I'm not sure if this is right, but I bridged the amp, so it sees my 4ohm subs 2ohms? The bass doesn't feel that tight. It is a HUGE upgrade from my RF punch 40.

For 2 subs, can you use a monoblock amp?

I have that exact same setup, I got it from the car audio depot. I think the amp isn't all what they say it is but it handles the diamonds pretty well. how did wiring them with the 8 ohm impedance go, more or less power?
