Solid 600w rms amps

Alright, so what's the benifit of purchasing an amp with 2x, or close to it, the power actually needed?I'm not arguing, just curious.
the power will be a lot cleaner due to the fact that the amp is not at 100-120% working capacity all the times. Amp will be less stressed and work cooler/more efficient when not pushed to the limit of what it can provide power wise.

 
I ended up installing a NVX XBBR and using its subsonic filter.

I just set the hz boost below the subsonic and left it as narrow as possible since I didn't want the frequency boost.

Colman recently posted up alot of sales, one was the CT T1000.1D for $119 with free shipping so I snagged one up.

I'm not a CT fan but have been wanting to try some of the stuff out.

yeah he's going out of business.. also jbl 500 amp was tested not long ago did well over 600rms $99 but don't have ss filter.
