Strictly speaking; there should still be no personal preference in the SQ judging. Either the vehicle reproduces the material accurately, or it doesn't in some way or another. If it doesn't reproduce it accurately, then it is docked points. Now, human's aren't perfect and we've yet to create a machine to determine sonic accuracy....I'm sure they (the judges) let some bias slip through.[n00bfight]So You mean to tell me that in SQ competition, reference material is run through an analyzer that records every nuance, down to 1/3 octave resolution (or better hopefully). Then, for each "competitor run" the same analyization system is used on their vehicle? from the listeners position? Then the two bits of outcome are overlayed, and whomever / whichever competitor's output most closely matches that of the source material... wins?

Now, that very well could be the case, but I have never even heard an inkling of that, so I am curious.

I still love You though
But, likewise; if it were strictly an SQ competition, why would they measure SPL aswell?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
