I too hadn't seen any results from the SPL12 until now, and from this test I can see that it hangs with the big guys with ease.

I was also poking fun at most of the boners on here that are mostly hype.

no really though dont gudge this sub because it has SPL in the name that it will only do burps. Dont call it a cheap MT becuase unlike the MT this thing doesnt sound like shit. I use 2 of them in a more Street beater set-up and they sound awesome. My numbers are not very impressive since its tuned low but why the hell do you guys stress over numbers like your the next scottie j or alan dante? This sub is amazing and i been saying that shit for a while now.

This is one of the first proto's of the SPL 12, over a year old now and still bangs away just great! Ive even put 10kw burps to it multiple times and the sub still bangs on! Also, realize that 144.5 score is in the back of a huge SUV, so thats nothing to scoff at.
