I had my system professionally installed for $556 which included 4 door speakers, 2 subs, and a DVD HU. I was doing the tuning on my amp because they clearly didnt know how to do it (max on sub amp) and went to the 4 channel amp. They used this shitty all in one speaker wire and the wire is like 20gauge (my guess). Is this the reason for speakers not being loud enough?

Do I have any recourse with this installer being the price I paid and the shitty wire/tuning that he did..at least to re-wire it with 12 gauge?

I have KnuKonceptz 1/0ga power wire from batt and 4ga Knu wire to amps..I really feel that this ****ing awful speaker wire is the crutch in my system..please let me know

100wx4 on the speakers....it just doesnt feel that way even at max volume! and 800RMS to the subs...the sub wiring is 16 gauge

thats why either you diy or tell him what you want before him doing it or after hes done you look at the work not happy he fixes it for the same price he was charging you if not you dont pay him haha

do I have the right to threaten him a chargeback on my AMEX?

American Express is amazing..tell them the job was not done in a satisfactory manner and tell them to cancel the charge....we didnt agree on anything though...he didnt even ask me!
