Never heard the Q, but I have a friend who was a w7 being pushed by a JL 1000/1 in a ported box in his 05 Mustang. I have no idea what its tuned to but it does sound good. The shop that he bought all the shit at built the box. Not as loud as I thought it would be though. It gets nice and low.

Are you comparing the 05 xxx with the new model, or are you saying the new model pre buyout vs post buyout price?
