So my buddy went from a 15" Q to a 12" W7..which is louder?

My buddy has a MB Quart DSC1500.1 running at .5 ohms to a 15" Fi Q in a built to spec sealed box.

He traded the Q for a 12W7...same amp...and I'm not sure of the box, but he said the W7 puts the Q to shame.

Even if the W7 was in a ported box, the Q should still put it to shame, shouldn't it?

I'm not a JL fan boy by any means, I was just really surprised. I figured the Q would EAT the 12W7.

Hmmmmmmmmm....what do ya'll think?

Q isnt an spl oriented sub, ESPECIALLY sealed. If the JL was ported, yeah stupid quiestion ofcourse it wins
