It is a win win with the BM or Icon. Both sound great sealed, both really get it done ported too. What you have to power is going to be the biggest difference in the end I think.

 

If you want to go ported and have 500 watts, the BM is an excellent choice. If you want to go ported with 1000 watts, the Icon is a great choice. Neither are meant for SPL, but if put in the right install they will do well for SQ subs.

 

I hope that sounded as unbiased as possible. The Icon sits more in-line with the outgoing MAG then the BM, so I am not sure how else to say the are intended for different applications. For SI, the MAG is the higher power offering, for SSA we currently only offer a single driver, the Icon.
