Nice general and false statement. While GM is not making cars people want to buy, they are just as realiable. In fact GM has less problems per 100 vehicles than BMW. The only mfg lines that beat them by a small margin is Toyota/Lexus. This type of general statement maybe based off previous history(80-early 90s), it is hardly indicative of the truth in todays auto market. In fact The numbers between all majors mfgs is so negligible, that it is useless to use as a basis for buying.bah. fuck gm, fuck chevy, fuck domestics.
get a RELIABLE car.

X2 gm is on their 3rd generation of that motor. It is basically bullet proof (like the small block). My 1st car a 92 bonneville had over 160k and didnt burn oil or anything. And since i was 16 and it being my first car, i drove it into the ground. Bench seats FTW.I think the 3.8L is a **** reliable motor.
Most people are. American autos don't seem to be in tune with what the market wants. This is obvious in sales.I won't comment because I am pretty much anti American cars now-a-days.
