well ain't that a ***** ... I got picked ... and my dumb *** brother got locked up .. besides that idk how my job is gonna work cuz I hear your job is suppose to pay you and the court but I do contract labor so idk how that's gonna work .. good thing im pulling double so I can get some night work in

I got fired from a contracting job once for jury duty. MD law says that you cannot be picked more than once within 2 years. Exactly after 2 years had passed I had to serve again, and this time got picked for a case. The case lasted 3 days, and by day 2 I was jobless because my boss didn't believe that I was serving. I had no proof until after I was done, but he wouldn't re-hire me. Karma got him though, as he is currently out of business.

If you get picked, they will ask during the selection if you have ever been a robbery/crime victim, just say yes and make up a good story and go home.Its really a waste of time if theres no hot chicks there. The best is, the places I went to had tvs but they played nothing but court procedure vids
