Well im getting one of these here lil buggers and i was wondering if anyone could chime in on any box plans you think i should do and also on the sound quality and just any comments on this sub...Thanks

Trey

you got 3000 real rms?.....id go sealed if the sub works sealed?. it would get loud and low and accurate. ports can effect sq badly if not done right, and sloppy bass just aint fun.

yea i got 3k of real rms...nah i want more output than sealed would be able to give me...thanks for your opinion though it made me think about it

i have mine in 5 cubes ported to 32. off of a 1605d. the amp is straight garbage becyase the rca post are mest up. but it sounds great and i have the loudest system out of any 1 i have met here locally. but my compition is nothing but hiughschool kids with sonys and kicker prefabs. but good luck if u have any other questions hit me me or post here i will try 2 help u out

lowsw are crazy at 32. late night tip un ungodly loud. stays aound with notes up to the mid 40's after 50 it is still lous, but there is nnothing like the look on peoples faces when i hit the low in late night tip, i wanna **** u(akon) or a couple outher songs with good lows.

what vehicle is it going in? i still have some box designs i did for the guy i sold my ssx's to. it's for 2 subs, but you could just cut the desings in half. pm me your email and i'll send them to you.

this is a ground pounder sub. the lower you drop the notes, the more they come unglued! it plays the uppper notes, but the strength of the lows (30hz) is more than the higher notes (60hz) in a low tuned ported. i liked tuned low, smaller box best. 3 to 3.5 cubes net.

I bought the two 15" ssx's from 95stroked1500, and I must say I've personally never heard anything as loud - even at the few car shows I've been to. Mine are in a 7 cube box tuned to 32 hz., and the lows are so retarded that you almost can't stand to sit in the truck (chevy suburban). I will say that the higher bass's notes don't really pound, but that's what midbass drivers are for I guess.

My last system was three jl 13w7's ported at 29 hz., and it wasn't as loud as the two treo's! Probably due to the lower tuning, and also the w7's only saw 3000 watts. I'm pushing the treo's with 4000 watts, so I may actually be underpowering the pair, but you'd never know it. I couldn't be happier. You will be satisfied.
