So when I fist signed on here I was going to buy infinity kappa comps. after being told I was wasting my money I was pointed to companies such as CDT, Focal, Dynaudio, and Morel. After researching any and all info on these brands I settled on Dynaudio. At first I was going to buy CDT but everyone kept telling me to get Focal or Dynaudio instead.

Now lately all I have been reading is rainbow this and Rainbow that. I already bought the Dynaudio speakers but I haven't hooked them up yet as I'm waiting to fiberglass my doors.

I guess my question is did I make the right decision? I never see any talk of Dynaudio these days. I hate to think I should have bought another brand.

There isn't anything wrong with Dynaudio. They are a well-known and highly regarded company. They have a reputation of being very warm speakers, so if thats what you are looking for I would stay with them. Install them first then have second thoughts:) you'll never be satisfied if you keep changing them out because they are no longer the "flavor of the week". Don't forget what speakers are made for, listening to. So enjoy them.

All great manufacturers, models are just as important when comparing though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Give the install they deserve and you should love pretty much any of em.

Thanks guys. I'm sure I will love them. I guess I'm second guessing myself because I just want the best I can buy for my entire system. and SQ is my over all goal. Money is almost no object. (within reason)

I'll give 'em a go. I hear they sound wonderful.

I personally dont think youll be one bit let down with the Dyns. One of the primary reasons theyre not discussed as much as others is the fact that they dont have low-mid-high lines. Pretty much one line "high". There is nothing in the "inexpensive" range like other manufacturers make available. The main difference between Dyn models is their driver sizes and whether its a two-way or three-way set. Other companies offer lower priced products to please more of the general consumers. Not making them 'bad' by any means, just more affordable to some.

I ran the System360 for a bit and was Extremely pleased with them. Very warm and laid back, although needing a bit of power to get em really going. I recently switched out and went back to Rainbow, not so much for sound, but more for my customers. If I demo my car and they like what they hear, I cannot offer them anything in the Dyn line for "cheap".

Like posted above, I think you should certainly installltem and give em a listen, theyre definately not your average Joe speakers and I have a pretty good feeling youll be more than satisfied with them.

great post 6spd. Thanks for the info. How much power were you running into your system 360's? I bought the system 260's and was planning on running 100wrms into them for now. I can put any where from 100 to 400 watts to them.

I was running them actively with a Arc 4150 to the MD140s/MD100s. Then a Arc2500XXK to my MW170s.

Id say a fair 200 per side would be more than enough to tickle your ears a bit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Dyn 360's off Buttler Tubes man what a system..

I installed some Dyn 240GT II's in mt Bro's dakota off an ARC KAR 400.2

It sounds **** nice..

It would be better if he had a sub to fill the gap though..

But Dyn is top of the line

If you ever think you need more get the 3way xover & a Dyn 8" mid you'd be in for a fine treat..

Peace Troy

Hey Post some pix when its up & runing..
