I've never used fiberglass for fill...I've always used polyfil batting(mat). The theory is the poly actually slows down the back wave making the enclosure 'seem' bigger, thus lowering the tuning.another question on the poly fill. Im an a/c guy and have been reading about lining boxes with fiberglass. Is this good? To me it seems it would drastically shrink the internals of the box but have read where people do this in leu of poly fill.
Rule of thumb for stuffing is 1lb per cf of airspace. So 2-2.5lbs loosely placed in the box should help.cool, I have rolls upon rolls of that stuff in my shop as well, that we use for filter media.
Yes it will work just fine. The tuning frequency of your box is going to be around 33hz-35hz depending on the affects of the polyfil...ssf's are typically set to around 5hz under tuning freq of the enclosure...you can run yours safely down to around 28hz-30hz.my amp has one on it, will that work?

and how do you set those things? I was farting around with it today and got it at the 35 hz setting
Maybe put that 90 on it and experiment with orientation. See where it works best for youHad no room, I'm gonna put a 90 on it and fire it at my right ear lol
