I ran completely unshielded Walmart RCA's for quite some time and never once had an issue.

lol.....I'm doing Monster in my new build. Just for the RCAs, my wiring is Kicker and KNU for the speaker wire. Good deals on them on ebay. I got an XLN 401 series for like 17 shipped and 4 sets of 3 foot interconnects for about 13 shipped. Looking to get the 2 channel subwoofer cable for a decent price to complete the wiring part.Bambaclad maan, bite your tongue!
