there is no break-in time really.

just play it once you get it.

I have sold a lot and installed a lot, pretty much just like everyone else said throw it in and your ready to go, btw for the price they are probobly the best bang for the buck sub out there so good choice

Ok thats good my friend was freaking out telling me that i need to set my amp at half and break it in and i wanna crank it when i get it. And i hope its got some band itll be night and day compared to my magnum shit subs from Circuitcity

I just purchased 2 MTX 9500's and they're being installed on Sunday, does the same thing apply for me? Or since the rubber on my subs is thicker I should break them in? If so, how?

The way you break in a sub is to play it normally. The suspension isn't going to loosen up by playing gently.
