So i got some alpine speakers ...

i got some alpine 3"1/4 in my dash and 5"1/2 in my door.....but they sound like crap when i turn up my music really loud, is it just the brand or are they hooked up wrong???

any reccomendations on better speakers?? i need something that will go really loud so i can hear over the bass

Why don't you try adding caps to the 3 1/2's and double check the wiring or you can add a crossover to your system.

I agree with redliner....ckeck the wirering and also make sure you are not trying to push to much power through them....

If you wattage is much higher than what they are peak for then you may be damaging them...
