So I got my MJ-18's running...

4.5cu^ft ported is not too small for an 18". My 18" will be in an even smaller box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I really think that 8ft^3 for a pair of the MJ's would be fine...which 18 are you going to be using?

i keep looking at these subs but keep steering away. but the point made earlier about not hearing one bad thing about people who own them. Thats true so im thinking about giving these a try

The cool thing about all this is *if* you do decide to purchase them, you are not selling your newborn to do so. If you don't like them, the resale value would be quite close to what you paid.

Unfortunately, this cannot be said with the higher "valued" units that are around.

Best,

Mark

I lo9ve mine they handle everything I throw at them. Loud low and accurate. I run mine in 18.5 cubes tuned to 40 hz with 300 sq inches of port.
