Uhh I got bass. I can actually listen to music with bass if I dont turn the bass all the way up. The only time I cant hear the lyrics is when I play full tilt.....I mean it might not sound good but it sounds just as good as when I had no bass in my car.

I wouldn't consider my system that loud at all, and if you read above.. I actually agreed with james. I don't believe in a subwoofer being louder than highs and mids I actually enjoy listening to highs and mids.. but I am not sitting here hating on those that do like a lot of SPL.
