So...am I screwed? Got pulled over twice today...

You said you don't make $6000/yr, which a) means you make less than half the poverty line, b) suggests that you're under 18.

Best way to lower your insurance?

Drive a different car.

btw; if you are a minor, and don't make any money, is this car in your name? You could pay less if the car was in your parents' name, and you were on their insurance policy.

so, you've never driven 1mph over the speed limit? if you have, then you need to shut the fuck up and quit being a hypocrite
Because 1 mile an hour over is so close to 70 on an on ramp you fucktard. I was never a street racer either, so I am not a hypocrite. Additionally, if I did get a ticket for going any amount over, I certainly wouldn't come here and ask what I should do about it. Go twiddle your sisters **** bitch.

i only read the first page then jumped ahead so if its been said ignore it. get a good lawyer. it might cost you out the *** but its not going to cost you $575 a month if he can get you out. ive paid my lawyer over $5000 in a years time. not going to go in big detail about the wreck that happened 6 months before i got the tickets but so far hes gotten me out of:

week 1 - no insurance

week 2 - no insurance, no seatbelt, dead tag, and following to close

week 3 - driving while licenese revoked, fake tag, no insurance (they took my license that day)

had all those dropped, none are on my record or insurance. now hes taking care of no insurance (i had insurance proof, the cop was being a dick) speeding, and revoked tag.

so with a good lawyer you should be able to get out of those, or at least get them dropped.

Sounds to me like you should have your license pulled. I've scraped way too many people off the roads who've been killed by stupid antics like what you did. Speeding on an on-ramp is one thing, but street-racing... I wish they'd do more car-crushing like some places in Cali.

Sorry, I'm blunt. Maybe riding a bike or the bus or hoofing it for a year or so will teach you a thing or two. Doesn't sound like you've learned anything yet... I hope you do... and not the hard(est) way.
I did have to walk and shit. After I got my car, even, there was a couple months where I had to walk everywhere because I hit a slick spot turning into a gas station and wrecked my car.

But I find it hard to believe that you think I should walk a 20 minute car ride, much less a 45 minute car ride.

I'm 18, and the car's under my mom's name. I MAY be starting to make more than $6k a year now, as I'm looking at a promotion, but what good is a promotion going to do if I can't drive to my place of work?

I'm thinking of taking the insurence off of it and grauging it up. It's not a special mustang or anything, but I like it. Good memories.

I was already setting aside money for a second car...but that's defiently out the window. Maybe put that twords an old beater.

Unless I'm mistaken, you couldn't have had insurance if your license was revoked. I could be wrong though.
