There's a few drag strips in Ohio, both offering street nights. I went to Quaker city spectating, and people raced anything. Jeep Grand Cherokees, Minivans, and a Viper and 'Vette duked it out. 20 bucks a night, unlimited runs.

I don't have anything amazing to race, but I've still gone up to Norwalk and had a blast in a 4 cyl. Cavalier that did an 18.3 1/4 mile, and S-10 pickup that did an 18.4, and my current Impala does a 16.5. But, when I'm not racing, I get to watch the "real" cars do their 10 second or less 1/4 miles. The whole night is a good time. As long as you like cars, of course.

I was actually planning on buying a car to take to the tracks/strips to race, so I DIDN'T end up doing this.

I was going to buy it next summer, a year too late I guess, haha.

No way I'm gettin a car to race now, I'll probably drop insurance on the stang down to fire and theft, and I"m thinking of buying a SUV or something, focus on sound insted of speed. Get in a lot less trouble //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I was talking to my dad about it, he told me, especially if I'm doing that, to jusy pay the fines and skip the optional court dates, and take the points. Store away the mustang for a year.
