So, 2200 Watts VS. 4400 Watts (lol?)

Yeah, this may sound dumb but I'm honestly wondering, since I'm not going to be metering or competing, if its really worth paying the extra cash for that much power. Basically I was originally thinking two HDC3 15s and two AQ2200d's. Should I keep saving and go for that, or would a single AQ2200d and two HDC3 15's or maybe even their sdcs or whatever be enough?

BTW I already have a 150idle/220 2k H.O. Alt. No extra bats tho.

i think the hdc subs would want more juice then that.. they are the same thing is a dd/konaki, and they want power! if you can't power them, then you would be wasting money!

Yeah I was worried about that as well. I mean I'd be sending about 2k a piece to them in the one system. But if I went on a single 2200d i guess you are saying I should pick a different 15 inch?

No, what he's saying is get more batts and get 2 AQ 2200D's and ur all set. Its worth the extra saving and you wont be sorry. Just dont put them in a sealed box...1k is def not enough power to push those subs.
