They don't heat up much. It was below 0 the entire night it was used, kept the coils quite cool.

I might have to drive to Michigan to check that out sometime. Looks pretty cool.

I bet it doesn't sound like ***, but probably doesn't sound like a dream either. It probably sounds like normal PA gear.

And, it's made of snow for a festival. You kind of take what you can get I'd think.

Yea, I don't know if snow would make all that great of an enclosure to begin with. I would be happy if the vibrations don't rattle it apart after a few minutes of playing it.

It's not just snow, its basically ice. I have never actually worked on it, but I have seen many statues being built, they use a hose to soak the snow as they add it to the forms, so it is quite sturdy. In past years the sub enclosure was smaller and people actually stood on top of it, it never broke. They actually need to use front end loaders to knock the statues down.
