Unfortunately, that's not the case. It's beginning to trickle down to the general 12v public via the internet, youtube, forums, myspace, facebook, twitter, etc, etc, etc. I'm hearing random people coming into the local shop talking about it, asking me about it at shows (oh you have Fi, like SM?) I've had Fi since before they had a website... (lol). Anyways, it's getting around...And Im finding it hard to believe, if its a legit design, that simply associating SM with the speaker, even so closely, should/would/could alter the market potential by any significant amount. As big as some people here think SM is, the vast majority of car audio enthusiasts have no clue who he is. Its easy to think everyone in car audio revolves in the same circles we do, but that's simply not the case.
The entire idea of SM being this closely related to an Fi produced speaker, and him signing them, just confuses me.
why? mounting depth isn't as crazy deep as you may think...Looks impractical for most people.
Ok the last thread was a "rumor has it" thread and i never got a chance to post any real pics by the time it was already 20 pages deep (with the exception of Kyle posting my iphone spy pics) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
so here are some cleaner pics. I dont know how many angles i can take but i think i got em all coverd. Hey you would pose by them too if you were here! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the spider and tinsel config will be a little different on production models. They were done like this so we can keep an eye on how everything is working before the make the final adjustments.
