so with the hate some of you have for meade aside (he dosent make the product his logo is just on it)what do you guys think
Isn't that the key to its measuring ability? I would assume the preamp gain is raised by the "dyno" until the "built in dd1" reads 1% thd, and then it calculates wattage at that point.I like the idea, but I would like it much more if I could turn off the DD-1's on each channel.
You could easily make that manual and use a scope. I hate DD-1 and won't use any tools that include it.Isn't that the key to its measuring ability? I would assume the preamp gain is raised by the "dyno" until the "built in dd1" reads 1% thd, and then it calculates wattage at that point.
I feel the same way there is a video of the DD 1 next to a rather expensive oscope and its doing its job http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=np0lpIiSesU&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dnp0lpIiSesUWhy? I'm sure you have good reason, but video of it side by side with an oscope seems to show it doing it's job.
