Small sealed will have greater peak output.which i generally louder? a small sealed box or larged sealed box?
i know that, can i not just get the answer to my question. i am not going to use a sealed box but i want to know. i guess you are going to tell me to get a type r next.
Also, if you go to large the subwoofer may act like free air =P.Small sealed will have greater peak output.
Large sealed will typically have better low frequency output. Unless you go too large, then you can lose low frequency output again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
A smaller box is less efficenient.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gifwell.....if you threw enough power to it, it has the potential of beind loud, yes. Usually the smaller of box you go, the less efficient is becomes requireing more power to reach xmax. I believe this is correct, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The sub would act like IB if the box volume far exceeded Vas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifAlso, if you go to large the subwoofer may act like free air =P.
