I have 2 slow drains in the factory wiring, 1 is the wire to the horns, tailights and the other is coming from my cd player. Im assuming the cd player draws a tad for the memory? The other slow draw I cant seem to find it, is there an easy way to find the short?

I did narrowed it down to the radio fuse, and the horn/brakelight fuse under the hood. I triple checked the wires from the head unit but when i disconnect the harness the draw disspears when i hook it back up same thing. I tried eliminating the wire but nothing, seems like the ground wire has power coming from it. I tried 2 head units and same thing, all the wires are connected correctly.

The other is a horn/brakelight wire coming from the fuse box under the hood, I checked the wire diagram for the car but theres got to be any easy way to find a short its hard to follow the wire all over and see the short //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

How olds the car and how much corrosion is there under the hood? In older cars, especially in areas that get a lot of salt exposure, I've seen problems like this solved by systematically cleaning contacts - especially grounds. This assumes there isn't some event, like new equipment, that started this.

car is old been disconnecting the factory harnesses but nothing yet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It is a 91
