Does the shape of the slot port inside of the box matter? I am having a hard time coming up with a build that will allow me to use the traditional "L" shaped slot port. Are there any negatives to simply running the slot port like this? Given that the ports were the same length, height, and width.

Ive never done one like the maze drawing you have, always "L" . But it seems many people on here do them that way, so it shouldnt be a problem. good luck.
