slot port direction in side box.

What are you looking at?
is there a performance advantage to which way the port goes inside the box?

say i built it to go down one side towards the rear, and then follow the port parrallel back to the front, and so on till the correct length is reached.

or should i go along the side with the port, then follow the back of the box?

sorry no pics, but i think what i said is fairly clear. it seems like following the wall of the box would have less bends, and therefore be less restrictive, but im new to box builing myself(slot ports), and figured i'd ask right quick bfore i finish putting my port in.

thanks to anybody that can help me.

less Bends in a port is definately best.

in each situation, is the port still coming out of the front of the box, or are you talking about porting it out to the side.
