Just found out today that the available space for the Mojo box I'm building is less than previously told. Of course being anxious to hear this thing, I had already cut most everything before pinning this dude down for long enough to do a check fit in his car. He said he just wanted me to slant the box so I didn't have to buy another sheet of MDF. I was going to use two 10 inch flared tubes, but now I don't want to use up anymore internal volume. I am hoping that you guys will tell me I can just cut a hole in the side and tack on a slot port. The woofer is gonna fire through the seat, I'd like to have the port fire up, but it will look funky adding a square to the side of a triangle. Will this work? Can I put one on each side? How big would the hole have to be in relation to port thickness for the math to still come out accurately? This is my first real ported box, so I appreciate you guys speeding up my learning curve, and I will definitely measure the next car myself before I tear through another sheet of wood.
