slim mids???

Here's the deal, I have some Mach5 mli65 that i was going to put into the doors. But then today i discovered that it won't fit because the hole is basically too small and the frame gets caught.

So now i need new mids(unless someone can tell me how to fit them without hacking up the doors) and they have to be pretty shallow or have a small enough frame so that it can squeeze through the door. Budget is about 100 bux a pair and i'm looking for decent midbass, but door is deadened so i should be good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yaam sayin you need Hertz Space.

i hear your car is already hacked up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I took a jigsaw to my bro's Acura TSX. it felt good, especially when his Mach 5 MLi6 fit like a charm afterwards.

bah, it's not that bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i might do it, but i'm weighing my options. What blade did you use to hack it up though?

I jsut went to HD and picked up some Metal cutting blades for my jigsaw. I had to use about 3 blades because 2 broke during the process.

we'll see, i might try it, have to take off some of the deadener off first though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I don't think you'll need to. try cutting w/ the deadener first and see how it goes.
