I’m a little confused by the ohms etc. got a skar skv2-1500.1d

4 ohm 500x1
2 ohm 930x1
1 ohm 1700x1

Two skar subs svr-12 dual 4 ohm 800 RMS / 1600 peak

does that mean if I run and wire the amp for 1 ohm I could deliver 850 to each sub?

I think this amp is two small for these speakers - am I right? Should I be running two of these amps or drop down to a lower RMS speaker?

You're fine. They could probably take a little more power. Double the rms of your subs is optimal. A 3K would be perfect.

Those Skar SVR subs work well on RMS power. They won't last long running more power on them. Don't get me wrong. I have run Skar and had very good outcomes with Skar. But you have to treat them as they are, a budget subwoofer.

Yes, wire the 2 subs to a 1ohm final load.
They will get 850 each.

That amp is great for those subs.
RMS matches up almost perfectly.

Set your gain correctly and see how your car's voltage holds up when you start to turn it way up.
Do the Big 3, make sure your ground location is a good one, and your wire connection points are rock solid.
