SKAR RP800.1? $139.. i need 6-800 @2ohm for now and maybe 800-1k later w/ ss filter

wow thats a big difference.. so even though skar was in the thread title just no love at for them huh? i know ya'll don't like owner and i agree there subs are copies of sundowns but peeps have recomended the amp before on here..
yeah, i was the 12v sales manager of an ultimate electronics in the early 2000s and kenwood was one of the bigger offenders of the claimed power ratings that didnt deliver back in the day. Sony and pioneer were almost as bad.

i agree with the sentiment that if you can afford the extra power that you plan on getting later anyways, might as well get it now. Save yourself the trouble later. My $0.02
no i don't mean buying a bigger amp later i mean i have d4 sub now so i need strong 600-700 amp (rated like 12.5v) or 800@ 2 ohm @14.4v that does like 1k at 1 ohm so if i want another sub later i can just buy a d2..

Id honestly feel like you would be happier with this little joker for a few bucks more and has been proven to last and do rated plus Precision Power PPi P1000.1 1000 Watt Monoblock Class D Subwoofer Amplifier New

Works great for as small as it is..900.4 and 600.2 all do very well, from my experiencing
i ordered the ppi based on your & kr recommendation, was gonna get the ss tn1200 looks like exact same amp ss did test a little higher but the ppi has more specs listed more reviews and it does 525 at 12v thats as much or more than i have now at 14 so i know it's stronger and at 930rms@2 ohm i can stay at 2 ohm even if i upgrade sub later.. coulda got it cheaper on some websites but they were in ca thought it take 10 days so i just got it on amazon i had some cash back $ on there anyway, should have it tues or wed..

I think you will be pleased with what you get for your money and be quite surprised at just how much power that amp delivers in such a small package.Hopefully you have your Big 3 done,as it will be something to do when funds are available/and recommended. You can do it yourself easily and not spend a load of funds and appreciate what that can do for you as well/to maintain great voltage for the demand.deff help if you do not have an AGM batt under the hood.I have done all my vehicles..even the one that doesnt have a system installed helps with great voltage@14.6v in my HHR

Ive ran that PPI 1000.1 all day long on an American Bass XFL 12 in 2.4 cu. ft.@32 htz,and it was warm to the touch slamming for a good 3 hrs on a road trip.Great little amp.Im thinking about placing a system in the HHR with all 3 of the PPI amps. Havent really considered it yet.. but I am wanting a bit more than stock speakers and sub stage that is in there. Its deff not that enjoyable atm.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

no i haven't done big 3 don't want to., i have supercharger belt and radiator cap 2" from battery, just to risky for little bit that i drive (40 miles a week or so) i have 14.4v at amp at idle it drops when i drive for sure i loose 1v., i'm gonna run it 2 ohm but that amp is rated to do 525 at 12v so if i get 750-800 i'm happy anyway.. i had a voltage booster on alt i was getting 15v at amp but it messed up and amp started basically doing 1/2 power driving as at idle so i took it off, may test it when i get new amp maybe a/t amp just didnt like that voltage..

You will be just fine with it..I mean..Hell you are running at 2 ohms..and should be no issues with stock electrical..If you have some dimming..I would recommend the Big3 to help out with that. You will enjoy it.Let us know how it delivers for you..Its always nice to hear back from the recommendations given on audio gear.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was running @2 ohm mono in my CRV and it got down pretty nice for utilizing a stock alt with Big3 and two AGM batteries and ELD bypass thanks to keep_hope_alive, that Hondas have
