Ppl generally like them for budget amps. I wasnt a fan of my buddies 2500.

Those are newer. I have no idea about them. But they look kind of cheap to me. Id rather opt for something proven (phantom) than take a chance. Im pretty positive the phantom will make more power

yeah the new rn has 80 amp fuses most other in this watt range have 120

I saw the ppi for 157$. I thank that is more than fair for an amp that does over 1100w certified.

I would look into the 800-1k amp now instead of later. Save the hassle of finding one later when/if you buy a 600-800 rms amp. But that's what I would do....some may agree with me or not.

I would look into the 800-1k amp now instead of later. Save the hassle of finding one later when/if you buy a 600-800 rms amp. But that's what I would do....some may agree with me or not.

what i mean is if i get amp that does lets say 700 @2 ohms and 1k at 1 ohm the 7 is plenty (my back window gonna leak soon as is) if i got like E later i'd get d2 and run 1 ohm1k.... other option is kenwood amp ($169) does 1k at 2 ohms solves all my problems and if it only really did like 910 rms and with my stock electrical and all i lost another 100 i'd still be at 800 rms @ 2 ohm which is all i'll ever need.. just tested my car for rattles before rain starts and man standing at door with door open (haven't done that) it was loud a/f with amp i got 800., would basically double that.. i just want amp that wont break in 6 months or shut off after 30 mins doesn't have to dirty

Powerbass amps are good. I can vouch for them... as for it being a new seller, i understand the concerns. I just threw it out there

from what ive read, the new PPIs arent bad for the money. I say this after having read tons of threads about them vs hifonics vs soundqubed. For the price range, looks pretty decent. No personal or even secondhand experience with them tho

yeah thats the best in price range i've seen tested except dampening factor is low (wish ap 1500's weren't frying all over the place).. wish someone had experience with kenwood amp since does 1k at 2 ohms., based almost solely on the model # i wonder if it's almost same amp as pioneer 1200 (or 800) which are very good amps tested to do more than rated power even at low freqs but they dont have ss filter kenwood does and they $300 at crutchfield have good reviews..

Kenwoods tend to make rated at 4ohm, but not 2ohm. Thanks to CEA, thats all they need to do. Was a thread on here a few years ago. The 900w mono, rated 500@4 and 900@2. Did 500@4 and only 600@2 on bench.

wow thats a big difference.. so even though skar was in the thread title just no love at for them huh? i know ya'll don't like owner and i agree there subs are copies of sundowns but peeps have recomended the amp before on here..
