Whats a good replacement for the rp 2000. I'm running it at 2 ohms on a evl 18 d4 in a custom box tuned to 31hz. 4.5 cubic ft.

Wanting something thats actually reliable. I'm done with "skarbage" as some of yall put it.

I do eventually plan on switching to the d2 voice coil evl 18

And later down the road I'll be building a 4th order for 2 sundown x series v.3 15s. So it'd be nice if when that time comes I can buy another of the same amp and strap them.

Buy a full bridge 8k. Run at 2 ohms since you have a dual 4 ohm currently. Then when you go to two X15s wire to 1ohm and have enough power for them.

Wouldn't that be a bit much on a 1250 rms sub? Not looking to break the bank either.

Its gonna be quite a while until I get around to the x 15s. Just looking to get my bass back for right now. Also don't want to buy anymore poor quality amps.

I like the sq 2200. Just wanted to explore some similar options before pulling the trigger

You can easily turn the gain down to get less power.

The SQ2200 is a fantastic amp. I ran two at 0.25 ohm each for a while. I've had quiet a few of their amps and been very happy with all of them.

I have also had over 10 full bridge amps and never had an issue with them.

Sundown SIA3500. 3,500 watts @ 1 ohm or 3,000 watts @ 2 ohms.
