any advise will help please! I'm new hear, and I've built musical and loud boxes before but this time I'm stumped. on the skar audio website it recommends a 1.75ft3 ported box, and the spec sheet I got recommends a .98ft3 (28L) ported box. ajdesign software sort of validates the spec sheet at .805ft3 but it seems small for the VVXv3 10in

My .02

I like 1.4ft3 net tuned to 35hz for that sub... it wont be the loudest volume/tune as It looked a bit peaky in that bigger volume/tune to me. It's not all about output sometimes. But the smaller volume/tune I stated looks musical and has decent output to me for a single 10 on a 600 wmrs amp.

I had my issues with Skar recommended enclosures before... been there done that... lol

ok because the sbb4 option gave me the .805 and another type of box actually gave me a 1.4 the exact thing you said but the tuneing frequency was 31.something I guess I'll do that and play with some other stuff. I just wanted some re assurance so I didn't east my time, and one more question, is that ajdesign a reliable program? thank you for the advise I appreciate it.

Ajdesign?.. 1st time I've heard of that one. But I live under a rock.

Someone else should speak to its accuracy/ usefulness... I'm not your guy for that.
