Size question!

Hey, I don't know if this is a stupid question, but I am trying to figure this stuff out. I'm kind of new to all this. Would putting a 15" SSD in a 2.5ft^3 box, thats after displacement and all, be bad for the sub?? The websites specs are 3-4 cubes, but I am trying to help a friend of mine figure out how to build his box for his small trunk. I know it's not good to have too little airspace for a sub, but I was wondering if that difference would be ok?

Well my friend already got the sub b/c he's slightly retarded and didn't think of how he was going to stick it in his car haha.

It may not play as low but it isn't going to damage the sub.

Try using a couple pounds of poly-fill to make up for the lacking size. It may not sound bad at all.
