well i found out it can use a 200, but will 50 be fine for 1200 rms? 4 guage wire

In the owners manual they recommend 200a

You fuse for the wire... not the amp. Get a 100 amp fuse and you'll be good to go.

well the highest they sell for my fuse holder i believe is 80, so thats what im using, would that push 1200 rms?,

i just hooked it up and it works, i just dont know how to set the gains and such yet to the right settings

rule of thumb for newbs. add on a 0 to the fuse size and thats what it can support

If you don't clip, you should be just fine.

and make sure it never drops below 12? under the hood?

i used my ddm and my gain was only at like 3/11, and my amp read like 40, if i did it right anyways lol.

Like crack said u fuse based on the wire not the amp..

u want it on ac volts the v with the wavy line, pretty much what the picture shows just one click to the right so its on 200
