Sitting in the hospital....

Yuo. 12:15 PM now. Just starting to feel alive a little bit. Went home for a bit to take a shower and change and stuff around 3AM then came back and have been sleeping in the hospital with the wife as much as possible since then. I know this evening we're going to have a lot of visitors so I'm trying to rest up at least a bit. That was one seriously rough full day. We are planning on having more kids in the future, so I'm hoping that we got the toughest one out of the way.

my girlfriends water broke while we were sleeping at about 1:30 am on monday morning so i had to run her to the hospital. we sat in a room until she finally had him at 10:45 pm on monday night. we just got home from the hospital about noon today, but dont get to bring baby home for a few weeks now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

congrats to you man

Congrads bud! Looks like a beautiful baby.

I had my first 14 months ago and love her to death. Also it isn't as hard as it seems. I have been blessed with a very good baby girl. She was sleeping through out the night after a few weeks and she seldom every throws up and she has been eating people food for a couple months. She is a blessing!

Have fun!

6:18 PM - We were changing his diaper and I got shot for the first time. Got me on my shorts. Little punk canon! Yup, it's gonna be different, but I'm looking forward to the day I get to help him put his first system into his first car. Good times ahead!

Well here goes round two! Expecting a girl this time around. Wife went into labor this afternoon and told me to finish work. I left 30 min. early. Got checked in at about 5:30 PM. She was already at 7 cm. The babies a bit smaller this time so we're hoping this one pops out. She's getting an Epideral this time around (right now actually). Hopefully this will be a much quicker experience. Not much a dad can do right now. Just sitting and watching.

Nurse just went to get her doctor. Things seem to be progressing quickly this time around. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come. Just a bit of cervix left. She's almost open.

Funny thing, as I think back to the first one, the first thing that I remember thinking when they put our son in my arms (in the operating room) was "man, he stinks!"

That went much faster. Kaitlyn born 10:40PM. Naturally. Everyone's, happy.

The end. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
