Going to be doing a small build for a friend's truck. He has a single SA8 and wants to do a downfire setup to protect the sub. I was looking at the pre-designed enclosures Sundown has on their site and the one for a single SA8 is actually pretty decent for what we're looking for. (~0.9cuft @ 29hz)

Just wondering if anyone has ever done a sub down port drivers side enclosure in a truck before or if anyone sees any inherent problems with it. I'm new to downfire as well as trucks so I'm shooting blind here. The enclosure is going to sit on the floor on the passenger side where the single seat folds up.

Thanks gents.

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.

Oh, just for future reference. Put $800 OBO, or you will only get that $600, or less. ;)
